Flying Hat Studio

Flying Hat Studio is a small home studio owned by Greg Shapovalov in East Wenatchee, Washington. Combining nice gear with creativity, it's a place for quality productions to be made. I do not cater to one particular genre and have experience recording several types of music.

It's fun to record.

So I do it in my free time even though I have a full time job. This helps me keep my prices insanely low.

I didn't go to recording school. Uh oh! But I've been recording bands and obsessing over the art of recording since 2005. I've eaten up any information I can find to futher my skills, but I've learned the most from my own mistakes.

 

Rates are...

$25 per hour.

But here's the catch!

 

I don't like to create artificial performances. I don't like to sample replace. But don't worry, you have options. Other engineers will do that.

I can and will however, help with electronic drum beats etc, because that isn't trying to pretend to be real.
